Removing Internal Shipping Protection
How to safely remove GPU and cooler bracing before first boot.
Open the side panel
- 1Lay the case on its side on a soft surface.
- 2Remove the thumbscrews on the rear and lift off the tempered-glass or metal side panel.
Remove bracing
- 1Locate any foam blocks or brackets supporting the graphics card and cooler.
- 2Gently remove them and keep them in case you ship the PC again later.
- 3Confirm the GPU is fully seated in its slot and the power cables are connected.
- 4Reinstall the side panel before powering on.
